The physical spaces where our members learn, work, and gather play a critical role in their growth and success. In 2022, BiG Heroes’ building was donated in memory of Jane Huerta, creating a permanent home where programs could grow and stability could take root. In 2023, a generous donor made it possible to add a fully equipped kitchen, expanding hands-on learning opportunities that support vocational and life-skills development. In 2025, thanks to a grant from H-E-B and the support of dedicated community volunteers, BiG Heroes expanded its wellness programming with the addition of an outdoor track and bikes, creating new opportunities for movement, health, and connection. Together, these investments do more than provide space, they shape daily experiences that build confidence, independence, and belonging, made possible through a community that believes in our mission.

BiG Heroes is strengthened by community partners who show up in meaningful and varied ways by giving their time, sharing their talents, and investing in opportunities that support our members. Throughout the year, businesses, organizations, and individuals engage alongside our members through hands-on experiences that promote inclusion, creativity, wellness, and connection, as well as through acts of generosity that help bring joy, resources, and stability to our programs.

Events like We Build Inclusion reflect this shared commitment, while initiatives such as Secret Santa giving remind us that inclusion is also built through care, kindness, and community support. Together, our partners help create experiences that foster belonging and reinforce the belief that inclusion is something we build and give together.
